Vietnam Itineraries

Suggested Itinerary Guidelines:

  –Hanoi

  –Hanoi - Ha Long Bay

Ha Long Bay cruise on a junk boat with visits to a cave and an island lookout. Savour a seafood lunch and dinner. Take a private van back to Hanoi.

  –  Hanoi - Hue

Overnight train to Hue

Guided tour of the Imperial Citadel, Royal Tomb and Tien Mu Pagoda.

– Hue to Hoi An (3 hours) (Transportation Info Hue to Hoi An)

riverboat trip, bike ride, beach time, tailor visit or My Son ruins.

– Hoi An to Ho Chih Minh

       Fly to Ho Chih Minh

Vietnam (in order of North to South):

    Sapa - rice terraces

Ha Long Bay - beautiful islands

Cat Ba Island - in Ha Long Bay, you must go to the hospital cave.

Hoi An - drink and eat in an adorable town on the cheap. Also has a great beach near by.

Dalat - outdoorsy person's paradise. Go canyoning and take the easy rider's tour

Special note: skip Nha Trang or only stay a day. It is basically just an expensive (relatively) city with a beach and lots of russian food. It has one cool temple but it is nothing compared to what you will see in Cambodia.
